Animals In Need Open Day 2008 at Pine Tree Farm Sanctuary in Irchester was a complete success it was estimated over a thousand people visited our sanctuary on Sunday 31st August.
The sanctuary was open from midday until 4pm for visitors but people arrived at 10am to look around early! There was many things on offer for people to do and see many of our animals were exicted to have the attention they deserve. There was a barbeque and drinks available, the original trotters independant traders 3 wheeler from the series was there for photo's, other rescue charities were also there to support us like Three Shires Ferret Rescue, Rushden Persian Cat Rescue and Species Rescue.
The car park was amass with vehicles coming in and coming out all day we took over £2000 in donations on the day to help the sanctuary.A further £750 being donated by Barclays Bank afterwards. Thanks to everyone who made the day the best ever so far and enjoyable for all of the volunteers on the day.
