Animal Sponsorship

Animals In Need is a voluntary organisation dedicated to rescuing sick, injured, trapped and distressed wild and domestic animals. We provide veterinary treatment where necessary, care for and rehabilitate animals until they can be released or re-homed. However there are occasions when it is necessary for us to look after them long-term or even permanently. With your very valuable support we can ensure that these animals can lead happy and healthy lives whilst at Pine Tree Farm.

Certificate Perhaps you would like a pet but currently do not have the facility to offer them a home. It may be that you would like to sponsor an animal on behalf of your school or office. Or perhaps you would like to treat someone to an unusual gift, at the same time helping out a local animal charity.

For each animal sponsored you receive a Certificate and Photograph, together with a pen, badge, keyring and newsletter. Your donation will help to provide food, care and shelter.

Volunteering

Do you enjoy spending time caring for animals?

Have you a minimum of 4 hours a week to spare?

Are you reliable, enthusiastic and conscientious?

Would you be prepared to work hard for free?

If you can answer yes to all of the above questions, you could be the person we are looking for!

" Volunteering is very rewarding & a great way of making new friends and gaining confidence. "

We are looking to recruit committed volunteers aged over 16 to help at the Sanctuary in Little Irchester. Our volunteers come in for a block of 4 hours at a time. If you are able to commit yourself to doing this on a regular basis, even if it is not every week, we would like to hear from you. You can put your name down to do specific tasks, ie dogwalking or mucking out, or you may just be happy to help out generally where required. We even need volunteers to do fundraising, so if you don't want to get your hands dirty you may wish to help out in that way.

We do ask that you are reliable, and that if you arrange to come in on a particular day that you do turn up. If you are genuinely unable to come in due to illness, we would ask that you give us as much notice as possible so that we can ensure we have enough cover.
