Sidney's Mountain Climb

01 April 2013 - 12:55

Our boy Sidney will be putting his best paw forward as he takes on Mount Snowdon to thank us for the life-changing operation which got him back on all four paws!

Geri Rutgers, who adopted two-year-old Labrador-cross Sidney from us in March 2012 is hoping to raise £500 as thank you which we are very excited about!

Mrs Rutgers, 46, will take Sidney, who she re-homed after he underwent two hip operations to help him walk again, with her on the climb.

Before his operation Sidney was rescued by Animals in Need and shelter owner Annie Marriott completed a 3,560ft climb of Mount Snowdon to raise £2,000 to pay for Sidney’s operations.

Mrs Rutgers from Northampton said: “It has now come full circle and it is Sidney who is raising money for Annie and Animals In Need.

“I never thought he would be able to do this.”
