As well as our amazing staff and volunteers at Animals In Need we are lucky enough to have some great patrons and supporters.
Animals in Need Northamptonshire were delighted to announce in 2010 that the highly respected English actress Jenny Seagrove has agreed to be a patron of our animal sanctuary based at Pine Tree Farm. Jenny Seagrove is well known for playing the character Jo Mills in the long running BBC drama Judge John Deed and has made many appearances on stage and in film as well as on television, establishing herself as one of Britain’s best loved actresses.
She is a keen animal activist, speaking out for many years against experiments on animals and promotes the health benefits of a vegetarian lifestyle, which is why Animals in Need were delighted when she agreed to be associated with the sanctuary. Roy Marriott, from Animals in Need comments "what a wonderful way to celebrate our 20th anniversary year, with Jenny becoming a patron of the charity. We are absolutely delighted and can’t wait for her to visit us".
Vets4Pets set out to become a local vet with a difference - and what a difference they make to us here at Animals in Need! Jenny and the Northampton team have supported us for several years and provide weekly visits to the sanctuary to our sick and injured animals. We are so greatful for all their help and support.
Jollyes is one of the largest chains of pet food superstores across the UK and Northern Ireland, providing a wide variety of branded pet foods and accessories. The Kettering branch have supported us with a donation food bin in store. We thank all the staff and customers as Jollyes for their continued support.
Heather Mills - Patron
Heather is a renowned charity fundraiser and animal rights campaigner and also owns Redwood Foods company in nearby Corby who produce vegan and vegetarian foods. We are delighted that she is one of our patrons. Roy Marriott says “Her ethics and lifestyle are a perfect fit with the aims and ambitions of us here at Animals in Need”.
The Avenue Veterinary Clinic is the oldest Practice in Kettering and whilst having up to date, modern facilities and techniques still retains all the core values and traditions of Practice. Great veterinary service only comes from caring and compassionate individuals working as a team to deliver first class care whether the need is for treatment or prevention. The Avenue Vets team created a stunning christmas tree as part of the Kettering Winter Wonderland Christmas competition and won £1800 for us!
